Being an H.J. Mulliner Coachbuilt example, this Bentley Continental was originally outfitted with only the basic single-matrix heater system. Though far better than nothing at all, and perfectly adequate for the time; the modern day standards of equipment on even the least-equipped modern cars leave these classic Bentleys feeling lacking. The minimal heater equipment was justified to ensure whichever Coach-builder received the car’s platform was as unimpeded as possible in designing their coachwork.
