RA Classics are pleased to offer for sale this stunning 1985 Mercedes 280SL. This impressive German convertible has recently undergone a moderate restoration at Ramsport UK Ltd and is now ready to fully exploit the beautiful British summertime.

RA Classics were able to acquire the car in perfectly functional condition with only a handful of rough edges in need of tidying up. We then set about the process of revitalising her; bringing the car to its best condition since leaving the production line.

Capitalising on our recently completed paint-shop; we elected to give the car a complete respray in its original Diamond Blue. All panel gaps and shut lines were also refined during this process. All exterior trim has been refurbished with most seals and rubbers being replaced.

The interior has also been refurbished with the cockpit interior being valeted and polished up; now boasting a clean and consistent condition. Wherever needed the clips and fixings that the trim elements in place have been replaced to ensure that all elements of the interior are taught and well-fitted.

The folding hood is fully functional and also in lovely condition. The car sits upon its original steel 14″ rims.
